CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

sunday school 9:30 – 10:30am

We believe that it is important to teach children from the earliest age about God and his love for the world. We have a class for all children that come to our Sunday School classes, whatever age they may be.
  • Toddlers (Ages 2-3). The toddlers class engages young children in learning with stories, play activities, songs and hand crafts.
  • Elementary School Children (Ages 4-11). At this age, children are being taught Bible stories and life lessons that are appropriate for their age.
  • Youth (Grades 7-12). Youth today are encountering moral and ethical dilemmas at increasing younger ages than ever before. We want them to learn the foundational principles of God’s Word and know how to stand for their faith in the secular society that we are all a part of.
*Note: There is no Sunday School during the summer months.

worship service 11:00am – 12:15pm

During the Worship Service we provide childcare for the following:
  • Nursery (Ages 0 – 2). Children are checked in and out by their parents or care-givers and are supervised and cared for by mature, screened volunteers.
  • Junior Church (Ages 3 – 5). Children are checked in and out by their parents or care-givers and take part in songs, stories and hand crafts led by mature, screened adults and junior helpers.

qualified volunteers

We are proud of the good work that our children’s workers do in our church. They provide interesting programs and activities for the children in a safe and secure setting so that children can learn and parents can be confident that they are being well-taken care of.

All of our volunteers aged eighteen and older that work with children have been appropriately screened through the Child Abuse Registry and Winnipeg Police Services. Our volunteers are also trained in our Child Abuse Prevention Plan.

summer worship times

During the summer, from June – September, our worship time on Sunday is at 10:30 AM. Junior Church/Nursery is provided for all children aged 0 – 4. We revert back to our regular Sunday School and Worship times on our fall kick-off Sunday in September. (First Sunday after Labour Day). Everyone is welcome to attend the service and stay afterwards for a BBQ and bouncer attractions for the children.
